5-Gallon Can Tumblers - Pail and Can Mixers

Mix in your sealed cans or pails with these can rotators to reduce hazards and save clean-up. Use your pail and can mixer to blend the contents of closed 1 to 5 gallon pails or cans (4 to 19 liter pails or cans).

 

Morse 5-Gallon Can Tumblers rotate pails at a constant 23 RPM in one direction. These can mixers do NOT shake or oscillate cans.

  • These pail and can mixers hold cans at an angle to horizontal resulting in a vigorous "corner-over-corner" mixing action
  • Can Tumblers rotate pails continuously in one direction. Pail mixers do NOT shake or oscillate cans.
  • Accept steel or plastic cans and pails:
    • Up to 12.5" (31 cm) diameter
    • 4.5" to 16.5" (12 to 42 cm) tall
    • Includes typical 5-gallon cans
  • Capacity: 100 Lb. (455 kg) per can
  • Tumbling speed: 23 RPM (19 RPM on 50Hz models)
  • Can tumblers provide exceptional savings when materials to be agitated are already packed in cans
  • Quickly secure pail in can mixer holder with hand wheel on threaded rod and locking handle

Motors on Morse 5-Gallon Can Tumblers

  • 1/4 HP, 60 Hz in choice of voltage, phase, TEFC or explosion proof (50 Hz also available)
  • Single phase, 115V TEFC version on model 2-305-1 or 1-305-1 includes a timer you set at 1 to 60 minutes for automatic shut-off. Timer is NOT available on other pail mixer models.
  • Air motors are also available. Air motors are vane-type and require correctly sized filter, regulator, lubricator, valve (FRL) and piping supplied by customer. See Air Motor Technical Information. Filter, regulator and lubricator (FRL) for your pail mixer may be ordered from Morse.

Single phase non-explosion-proof can tumblers with 60 minute timer plug into standard 115V wall outlet. All other Morse can tumblers are shipped without control, cord and plug and must be installed by an electrician according to local codes and customer's preference.

Explosion Proof motors are rated for Class I Group D, and Class II Groups F and G.

Air powered models require plant air at 40 psi and flowing at a rate of 22 scfm. Filter, Regulator, Lubricator and valve (part # 90010-P) should be installed in the air line ahead of the motor.
