Morse Model 185A-GR

Use Morse Extra Heavy-Duty Kontrol-Karrier to lift, rotate and control drum pouring at or above your reach

Morse Extra Heavy-Duty below-hook drum carriers enable you to pour a drum above your reach. You control drum tilting 360 in either direction. Dispense drum contents with your hoist or crane. Even lift and invert a drum with drum faucet in place.

These Extra Heavy-Duty drum carriers have a pull chain to control the drum tilt with a 60:1 worm gear speed reducer and "extra heavy-duty" rating.

• 2000 Lb. (907 kg) Full 55-gallon steel drum
• 1000 Lb. (454 kg) Half-full drum*

Every Morse Below-Hook Drum handler is load tested at the factory as per American National Standard ASME B30.20 and a load test certificate is enclosed with each unit.

Model 185A-GR has 2 load binders to secure drum in the drum holder and an enclosed worm gear speed reducer.

Morse below-the-hook drum lifters are manufactured by Morse Mfg. Co., Inc. in East Syracuse, NY 13057. These drum lifters comply with ANSI/ASME B30.20 standard for mechanical, below-the-hook lifting devices as it applies to the following:

• Rated load markings and unit identification
• Minimum design safety factor of 3, based on yield strength, for load bearing structural components
• Welding is performed by certified welders who have passed the ANSI/AWS D14.1 welding qualification test
