Morse Kontrol-Karriers enable you to lift, rotate and control the pour of a drum at or above your reach

Pouring drums above your reach is easy with Morse Kontrol-Karriers. Dispense drum contents with your hoist or crane. Even lift and invert a drum with a drum faucet in place. You control drum tilting 360 in either direction.

These below-hook drum carriers have a pull chain to control the drum tilt with a 30:1 gear and sprocket ratio for pouring drums.

Capacity:

  • Full drum up to 800 Lb. (363 kg)
  • Half-full drum* up to 500 Lb. (227 kg)

Every Morse Below-Hook Drum handler is load tested at the factory as per American National Standard ASME B30.20 and a load test certificate is enclosed with each unit.

* Half-Full Drum Rating is an indication of capacity for tilting unbalanced, bottom-heavy drum. Partially full drum with unbalanced and shifting load is harder to tilt than full drum.

Morse below-the-hook drum lifters are manufactured by Morse Mfg. Co., Inc. in East Syracuse, NY 13057. These drum lifters comply with ANSI/ASME B30.20 standard for mechanical, below-the-hook lifting devices as it applies to the following:
  • Rated load markings and unit identification
  • Minimum design safety factor of 3, based on yield strength, for load bearing structural components
  • Welding is performed by certified welders who have passed the ANSI/AWS D14.1 welding qualification test
