Can Tumbler - Pail Mixer

Morse Can Tumblers provide aggressive corner-over-corner mixing action. These pail mixers can be used to blend the contents of your closed 1 to 5 gallon pails. Can rotators mix in sealed cans or pails to reduce hazards and save clean-up.

Morse Can Tumblers rotate pails at a constant 23 RPM in
one direction. They do NOT shake or oscillate cans.

• Mix or agitate small batches quickly and economically

• Blend liquid or dry materials

• Tumble pails of parts with media to deburr or polish them

• Cans are held at an angle to horizontal rotating shaft resulting in a vigorous "corner-over-corner" mixing action

• Accepts steel or plastic cans and pails:

  • Up to 12.5" (31 cm) diameter

  • 4.5" to 16.5" (12-42 cm) tall 

  • Includes typical 5 gallon cans

• Capacity: 100 Lb. per can

• Tumbling speed: 23 RPM

• Exceptional savings when materials to be agitated are already packed in cans

• Quickly secure pail in holder with hand wheel on threaded rod with locking handle

  • 1/4 HP, 60 Hz in choice of voltage, phase, TEFC or explosion proof (50 Hz also available)

  • Single phase, 115V TEFC version on model 2-305-1 or 1-305-1 includes 60 minute timer for automatic shut-off. Timer is NOT available on other models.

  • Air motors are also available. Air motors are vane-type and require correctly sized filter, regulator, lubricator, valve (FRL) and piping supplied by customer. See Air Motor Technical Information. Filter, regulator and lubricator (FRL) may be ordered from Morse.

Install Morse Rotators in accordance with OSHA requirements for enclosure and interlock, etc. For OSHA compliance, see OSHA subpart O.1910.212 "General Requirements for all Machines." Power connections and motor controls must comply with applicable codes.
