Which Morse drum handling models accept Diameter Adaptors?

Many Morse drum handlers can handle several drum types and sizes when equipped with the correct adaptors and accessories.

How can I handle that drum?

Handle a smaller diameter drum

Diameter Adaptors allow you to handle a smaller diameter drum with the same Morse drum handler

• Quickly insert and remove from the drum holder

• Handling some fiber drums (or a straight walled steel drum) requires the Fiber Drum Strap AND correct size Diameter Adaptor

Diameter Adaptors with hold-down brackets at top and bottom of the drum. The hold-downs adjust for a drum up to 38" tall.

For smaller diameters

• 14" to 14.5" - Model 55/30-14.5

• 15.5" to 16" - Model 55/30-16

• 17" to 17.5" - Model 55/30-17.5

For Diameters

• 18.5" to 19" - Model 55/30-19

• 20" to 20.5" - Model 55/30-20.5

• 21.5" to 22" - Model 55/30-22

Use these Diameter Adaptors with the Model E14 Fiber Drum Strap to prevent drum from slipping in holder.

  Handle a Fiber Drum

Model E14 Fiber Drum Strap

Replace the cinch-chain on a standard drum holder with the Fiber Drum Strap to handle a fiber drum. You can leave the fiber drum strap in place to handle a steel drum with the same drum handling equipment.
 

NOTE: You must use the Fiber Drum Strap with the correct size Diameter Adaptor to handle a fiber drum with 18.5" diameter and larger. Smaller Diameter Adaptors with hold-downs preclude the need for a Fiber Drum Strap.

Fiber Drum Strap

• 14" x 4" rubber friction surface to grip a fiber drum or straight walled steel drum

• Replaces cinch-chain of standard drum holders

• Model E14SSKIT-P is available with type 304 stainless steel parts

• The Fiber Drum Strap will withstand sustained temperatures of up to 350⁰F, and intermittent temperatures of up to 500⁰F.

  Handle a 55-Gallon Plastic Drum

Two methods of handling a 55-gallon plastic drum with your Morse drum handling equipment.

1. Bracket for drum with or without a top rim (shown left)

2. Top Rim Clamp for rimmed drum (shown right)
