  FEATURES

Morse Model 185AM below-hook drum carrier with spark resistant parts allows you to lift, move and pour a drum weighing up to 800 Lb., or a half-full* drum up to 500 Lb.
Model 185AM below-hook drum carrier is designed to handle a 55-gallon steel drum with 22.5" diameter between the ribs.

• Handles: 55-gallon steel drum

To load the drum lifter, simply move the drum holder against the drum and cinch the chain. Lift drum and rotate drum 360 degrees in either direction. Drum can be held at any tilt angle. The standard drum tilt control is a chain wheel with 12' chain loop.

IMPORTANT - It is critical to use the correct holder to lift your drum type and dimensions.

• To handle a fiber drum, order MODEL 185i with the correct size Diameter Adaptor AND Model E14 Fiber Drum Strap to prevent drum from slipping in the holder.

• To handle a 55-gallon plastic drum, order Model 185A-HDPS

Measure outside diameter (O.D.) half way down the drum, where the holder engages the drum.
Diameter = circumference divided by pi (3.1416).

* Half-Full Drum Rating

Half-Full Drum Rating for below-hook drum carrier is an indication of capacity for tilting unbalanced, bottom-heavy drum. Partially full drum with unbalanced and shifting load is harder to tilt than full drum.
