  FEATURES

Morse Model 185i below-hook drum carrier allows you to lift, move and pour a drum weighing up to 800 Lb. Standard Model 185i below-hook drum carrier is designed to handle a 55-gallon steel drum with 22.5" outside diameter between the ribs.

• Capacity: 800 Lb. full drum, 500 Lb. half-full drum*

• Handles: 55-gallon steel drum

• Accepts Diameter Adaptors for smaller drum

To load the drum carrier, simply move the drum holder against the drum and cinch the chain. Lift drum and rotate drum 360 degrees in either direction. Drum can be held at any tilt angle. The standard drum tilt control is a chain wheel with 12' chain loop.

If pouring a smaller drum, first insert the correct diameter adaptor, then follow the steps above.

IMPORTANT - It is critical to use the correct holder to lift your drum type and dimensions.

Convert your drum carrier for handling a fiber drum with the correct size Diameter Adaptor and Fiber Drum Strap to prevent drum from slipping in the holder.

Measure the outside diameter (O.D.) half way down the drum, where the holder engages the drum.

Half-Full Drum Rating for below-hook drum carrier is an indication of capacity for tilting unbalanced, bottom-heavy drum. Partially full drum with unbalanced and shifting load is harder to tilt than full drum.
