  FEATURES

Morse Model 185i/E below-hook drum carrier allows you to lift, move and pour drum weighing up to 800 Lb., or a half-full* drum up to 500 Lb. Standard Model 185i/E below-hook drum carrier is designed to pour a 55-gallon fiber or steel drum with 22" to 22.5" outside diameter (typical 55-gallon drum size). It also accepts diameter adaptors for a smaller drum.

To load the drum lifter, simply move the drum holder against the drum, pull the Fiber Drum Strap across the face of the drum and cinch the chain. Lift drum and rotate drum 360 degrees in either direction. Hold at any tilt angle to pour drum. The standard drum tilt control is a chain wheel with 12' chain loop.

IMPORTANT - It is critical to use the correct holder to lift and pour your drum type and dimensions. Handle a fiber drum with the correct size Diameter Adaptor to prevent drum from slipping in the holder.

Measure the outside diameter (O.D.) half way down the drum, where the holder engages the drum.
Diameter = circumference divided by pi (3.1416).

Half-full drum rating for below-hook drum carrier is an indication of capacity for tilting an unbalanced, bottom-heavy drum. Partially full drum with an unbalanced and shifting load is harder to tilt than full drum.
